Diva Challenge 207 - Use my Tangle 'Unbatz'

Minimal post this week.
Unbatz by Sandy Hunter, with my own tangle,  'Skwirl' and the Square One: Purely Zentangle pattern for this week,  'Sez'.
String 146 is by Lily Moon.

(Is it just me, or do some of my 'Sez' look like rather worried pairs of eyes...? Now I am a bit disconcerted.)

    I don't know if the "eyes" looked worried----or like they've been drinking. ;-) I think you've used Unbatz as a perfect wallpaper. It has potential to become a "go to" background tangle. Nice work.

    Great combos for your tile and well done. Sez isn't my favorite for that very reason. I think they look like cartoon crazy eyes LOL!

    Nice use of Unbatz as a background. Your tangle reminds me a lot of Yincut, or am I looking at the wrong tangle?

      Usually, when I do Skwirl, I get circles but for some reason, this shape made diamond shapes when I shaded - and yes, this does look a bit like Yincut...Axxx

    OK, once you see the worried eyes, you can't unsee them - but then, the tangle in the center looks a bit like a mask so maybe they're just wondering who's eyes are behind it :-) A nice tile and a lot of fun to look at!

    Love how skwirl is wrapped in the center of your tile...very cozy. That unbatz pattern is sure versatile and makes a great background too. I keep seeing it used in very different ways. BTW if I have never said so, I LOVE your banner on your blog, so COOL!

      Thank you Chrissie - yes, I think Unbatz is a lovely, unassuming background pattern with a lot of potential. I wasn't impressed too much at the beginning but I really enjoyed tangling it and I have found some really nice versions through the Diva's challenge.

    Um... Sez has ALWAYS looked that way to me when one leaves out the last step that Rick puts in with the dark thick auras. But even then, if the "seeds" are close together even his come out looking like those stick on "google eyes" that kids love so much. Good thing I'm a 50+ year old kid, as I even put google eyes on my filing cabinet. I don't think they look worried, they look like they're fun, doing it on purpose! Nice Zentangle.
