Diva Challenge 198 - KISS....

Keep it Simple, Silly!

Laura and family seem as busy and cheerful as ever over on I am the Diva but I don't blame her one little bit for wanting to keep things simple at this time of the year. I wish all the family a great Christmas and hope Artoo's recovery continues - he and his brother certainly seem to be having fun!

I did this simple tile yesterday as one of my Christmas card toppers. Verdigogh, one of my all time favourites, is simple, elegant and doesn't usually need anything else to go with it. Rather than finishing it off as usual by subtle shading, I resisted doing any at all in order to keep those simple lines...it was difficult as I love shading! But I like it.
Hope you all have a great Christmas.

Axxx

  2. A perfect Verdigogh for this time of year. The one time I tried it, I'm afraid mine didn't come out looking simply elegant nor peaceful like yours did.

  7. Love your Tile, Annie. Verdigogh is one of my favorite patterns also. I very much like your curved elements, and the way you colored it in layers. Beautiful red highlighted beads. Well done.

    1. I love Verdigogh, David and I think I almost always curve the 'leaves'. I was going to add more colour and shading but then the challenge came up....and to leave shading is always a challenge for me!! Thank you. Axxx

  16. Nice job with Verdigogh. I think this is one of the harder tangles. I have had mixed results with it. You did well and it will make a great card. Sure your friend will cherish receiving it. Merry Christmas to you and your family and best wished for the New Year.
