Diva Challenge 257 - Ooh Shiny! With guest blogger Amy Broady CZT

I haven't been having the best of years so far. Tangling is always helpful and my situation isn't very bad but I'm definitely not feeling at my best.
Here's to a fun-filled, lively and exciting March. Barring that - a safe, quiet and happy March...

I did love doing this sparkly tangle for the Diva Challenge though and feel as though I am turning a corner just for the satisfaction it gave me. I tried a new to me tangle, C-Stem, and loved it! Thank you Agneta Landegren!

Also includes Shattuck, Tropicana, Bandola and Printemps plus a few 'fillers'.

Thanks for popping by.

  3. I'm sorry you aren't feeling on top form Annie, I hope things improve in every way, and soon. Your tile is really pretty. Is the pattern across the top called Tropicana? You've done a brilliant job of it. again, I hope things get better, M

    1. Thank you so much, Margaret. Yes, Tropicana is the tangle along the top and Lady Kate (see below) is the genius behind its design! I do love it.
Hoping that I'm turning more than a Zentangle corner just now. :-)

    1. Thanks Kate - I hope so and do recognise that despite a few downers this year, I am actually incredibly lucky.
I've always been a Tropicana fan - from the very beginning - and still think it's a wonderful tangle. I hope I've done it justice.

  9. Here's hoping things start to look up for you with the coming of spring. Meanwhile, there's Zentangle to help keep one at least moderately sane and functional. Your shiny tile shows that sometimes adversity is a splendid muse (but, seriously, it shouldn't be necessary to suffer for art. I know, tell it to Van Gogh.)

    1. Lol! Yes, I think the coming of spring will definitely help. And I can't say I'm enough of an artist to ever suffer for it - but Zentangle is great for letting everything else just float on by. Thank you. Axxx
