I did two tiles this week, just because I was enjoying the flow.
One on a Renaissance tile with some of my new pens bought in a recent visit to the UK.
And one white on black - just as it came out of the pen, no shading, nothing, just a pleasure of line drawing.
Check out all the entries to this great challenge on Laura's blog 'I am the Diva' and enjoy the amazing takes on this lovely new tangle.
Thanks for popping by - feel free to leave me a comment! Axxx
Love the colored tile. Rich in expression and so nicely done.
ReplyDeleteLove the black tile, and you captured it so well "just a pleasure of line drawing"
Beautiful
Thank you Omer, glad you like them - I'm pretty sure you recognise that pleasure too! Axxx
DeleteThey're both lovely, but I must say that I just love the simplicity of the one on the black tile. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jean! I so enjoyed that white on black one, I do confess. Axxx
DeleteBoth are lovely! I love the shading and depth you achieved on the tan tile.

DeleteWhat lovely words, Diane - thank you so much for such lovely praise. Axxx
ReplyDeleteThe Renaissance tile looks like embroidery - very pretty. I love white on black and your truffle pattern seems made for that medium.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this lovely comment, Kia - I think you're right about the white on black too...it flowed so well. Axxx
DeleteBoth of these look great. I think i prefer the first one though. I like the white highlights on the brown background. Both look very delicate.
ReplyDeleteI did the first one whilst on holiday in the UK, Donald and when I came home, I retouched and emphasised all the white highlights..I think it made a big difference and I'm so glad you commented on it. Thank you! Axxx
DeleteI like them both in their own different ways.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne - I enjoyed both in different ways too and did them in different countries. Axxx
DeleteThe Renaissance tile looks like embroidery! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laura - there is quite a close link between Zentangle and embroidery, I think, but if you gave me a needle I would NEVER be able to sew what I can draw! Axxx
DeleteBoth are beautiful! Each have its own impression and I like both very much!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, LonettA! I'm so glad you like them. Axxx
