Diva Challenge #165

This week's Diva Challenge was a 'UMT' or Use My Tangle, and she picked 'Camelia', created by Anne Marks. It's a lovely flexible tangle suitable for a grid or freestyle and I really enjoyed using it. I decided to let it take centre stage in this ZIA.

I'm off now to have a look at what everyone else has done this week - so far, I haven't had a moment to see them, so am really looking forward to that!

Camelia, with a little Flux and Aura-Leah.
Thank you Laura, for giving us such inspiration!!

  5. Annie, I love the combo of tangles you used! And even though you used Camelia in a grid, it blends so well with your free organic tangles!! Very nice, I like it!!! :0) Share Humanity

    1. Thanks Annette - interesting tangle, Camelia - isn't it? I used a curved grid and let the tangle do its own thing at the ends...it did itself really! Axxx

    1. Thank you so much, Beewatch - glad you like it. I used a slightly different style to fill in the 'black' which was easier but also gives a nice and softer effect. Axxx

    1. Oh Diane! Thank you. It's a lovely compliment but everyone has done a gorgeous attempt....you'd have been stuck if you'd seen them all first. And yours is so utterly original! I think the key thing to do is to find the 'clever' tricks - I learned quickly that 'sparkle' made all the difference and so always try to include that somewhere in my tangles. Camelia lent itself to that because it has quite a lot of black in it. Thanks again. Axxx
